So what finally convinced me to go 20vt?  At the last dyno day with the 10vt I made the mistake of going for a spin down the interstate with race gas in the tank.  At that point there was no turning back.  I wanted that type of power at my fingertips regardless of the type of fuel in the tank or the temperature outside.  Then another Audi fanatic offered to buy the 10vt header and it was all downhill from there.  After a bunch of planning between Javad at 034 Motorsport and the Colorado s-car guys, I had everything together.

The motor is such a treat to play with and puts the car right where I dreamt of having it some day.  It’s really just a matter of how big do I want the turbo to be.  At the time of writing this the motor has already broken one very large turbo and one 4kq 016 transmission.  I’ve been running it around 23 psi on the street to keep the tranny happy and me alive.  At this level the motor is putting out over 360 whp which is pretty silly power for a street car of this size.  Some day I hope to upgrade the tranny to RS2 spec. so I can reliably turn up the boost a little.
