The Turbo Conversion Phase 1
Ok, so it's your run of the mill MC engine running 16-18 psi crammed into my 90q.  I chose to flip the airbox around and fiberglass it together.  From there the air goes through a VW intake boot, through some Turbonetics and Samco fittings and into the turbo.   I had it all together with a butchered 5000 turbo airboot and some flexable silicone hose for starters, but it was way to pieced together for me just to leave it like that.  Then to the intercooler and through my Michelin Man replacement pipe that I made with my hacksaw and expert brazing skills.

The fuel system is stock CIS-III with 5 additional electronic injectors for high boost situations - normal everyday driving in between SUV's.  They are controlled by a laptop programable ECU.

The clutch has been enlarged to the 240mm from the Coupe Quattro

Cooling is still taken care of by the two stock radiators, and the 5000 oil cooler.  These all could use upgrading in the future.

The 3" exhast has been custom bent from the wastegate back to a 3" CAT through a 3" Borla.
